Greg Halloran is a painter from Raleigh, North Carolina. His two main projects are The Twelve Steps are Giant Steps (a series of portraits that use jazz-history and poetry to investigate addiction) and Continuum (a series of stain paintings that investigate causality and determinism). All of his artwork is influenced by Synchromism – the best system for combining music theory and color theory. Drawings for Strangers is an unfinished blog that shows sketches made on Halloran’s trip down the Mississippi River in a catamaran raft with Hannah Eck.
